The first pair of sunglasses that arrived to me were broken. I contacted UPS as well as the Del Sol company. Del Sol responded within 48 hours to let me know they would send me out a new pair. Over a week later, my new pair just arrived today.

I really like that these are color changing in the light. They are not as large as I hoped for; I am used to wearing huge, over sized sunglasses.

The areas that change color on the sunglasses are the rhinestones and the pattern on the stems.

Overall, I'm happy with these for everyday wear. They are really nice and I like that they come with a quality guarantee!

This product smells GREAT! I love that it is not "greasy" feeling. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and fresh. I wear this prior to putting on my facial serum. It has really helped to keep my skin feeling clean and ready for makeup!

-Word of advice - there is not a "spritz" cap even though the directions tell you to spritz on face. Also, you have to unscrew the cap - it does not pull off! LOL.

This little gadget is super cool! I have been whitening my teeth for years and this has been the EASIEST whitener I've ever used. All you do is brush up and down on your teeth; it's that easy! You can even see the stains come off onto the little white pad attached to the brush. It is so cool!

So far after using this product for about 3 days, I have not had any sensitivity. I really like that this product does not give you a "funny taste" in your mouth after using it like most whiteners do. It does not take longer than 5 minutes to use.

This product is really nice. I want to give a head's up that it says to clean your skin AND use toner before using this product. I didn't have a toner - so I had to get one. This product is a nice consistency, doesn't burn, and doesn't have a strong odor. I just started using it, so I haven't had a HUGE improvement with dark spots, but I have noticed some slight improvements, so I 'm going to continue to use  it.

My son (age 14) loves these headphones. It's seriously so cool that he was able to link his phone to the headphones via Bluetooth. He is able to connect the phone and then walk away from the phone and still be able to listen to his music without carrying the phone around! This product is really revolutionary!

These headphones have a great sound quality and appear to be well made and durable. There are several "extras" that come with the headphones including little plastic pieces (optional to use) to help cushion the headphones on your ears.

All I can say is WOW. I seriously love this stuff! It has such a great smell when you apply it and it makes my skin feel super smooth. I have been wearing this along with my Younique makeup and I LOVE it.

The 24 carat gold flakes have not gotten on my skin, but it is such a cool concept to think that there is GOLD in my face primer! The only word of warning that I have for when you use this product - make sure you cup your hand around the nozzle of the pump. It tends to squirt out very quickly.

These pills have given me mental clarity improvement. I have noticed when I take the pills that they enhance my ability to focus throughout the day. The only "down side" about the pills is that it is recommended to place them under your tongue to dissolve for better absorption. I really love that this company encourages diet and exercise in conjunction with wearing the wraps. #thinbotanicals wraps are pretty cool! I have seen a little bit of progress with my cellulite in my tummy area from wearing these. I have been working out daily and dieting for nearly 1.5 years, so it has left me with a little bit of extra skin in my tummy area. I will continue to wear the wraps every few days to see if I can get even more progress.

I really like this product. I ordered it approximately 2.5 weeks ago. I have been using it for over a week now and I really like it. You take the pills on an empty stomach and it has not made me sick when I do this. There is no smell or odor from the pills either (a huge plus for me!).

I can't express how excited I am about this little gadget! I have a job that requires me to have a USB with me at all times. I really love that this product allows both voice recording as well as the function of a USB.

I have yet to use the voice recorder function, but I am confident from the use of the USB that the voice recording function will be fine!

This product is pretty sturdy and I would compare the quality of it to the USBs that I have purchased at Wal-Mart or Best Buy. I am happy with the quality and would buy this product.

I am VERY excited to try this product for a few weeks to see if my hair starts to regain fullness again! I have had very thin hair for the last few years. I have really done a lot of damage to my hair - from bleaching it for a few years to getting sew-in weaves to flat-ironing my hair and blow drying it several times per week. I have really been hard on my hair. The main things that really did the most damage were the bleach and the sew-in weaves. I experienced hair loss due to chemicals as well as hair loss due to traction (pretty much killed the hair follicle from my hair being braided too tightly under the sew-in).

My experience after having this product for about a week - I really like it so far. Although it has a chemical smell to it, I don't find it that difficult to apply and keep on my hair for extended periods of time. I do not experience burning or itching.

It's too early to tell if I have any regrowth yet - the product packaging says it can take up to a few months to see results. So I am optimistic it will work for me! I'll keep you updated!

She is nearly 12 years old, and not moving as quickly as she used to. This product is ideal for her since it focuses on joint health and decreasing swelling in the joint area.

Product: This bottle is HUGE! It will go a long way! One thing I want to make note of is that this product needs to be refrigerated after opening (it is a liquid)! Don't forget! 

Bottom line: Would I purchase this product after finishing this bottle? As long as I continue to see improvements in my dogs' joint health, I would certainly purchase this product.

I hate to admit it, but I have struggled with sleep over the last few years. Due to this (along with stress), I have developed "bags" under my eyes. There, I said it. I have bags under my eyes... well - at least they are now getting better! I really like this product for a few reasons.

1. It's NOT greasy feeling! 

2. It does not bother my contacts / burn my eyes. 

3. You only need a little bit of this product each morning and evening so this bottle should last for a LONG TIME. 

Packaging: This product came in a nice cardboard box with product information on the sides. 

Bottle: This bottle is pretty sturdy feeling. It is made of plastic; the pump is also made of plastic. 

Bottom Line: Would I purchase this product after I finish this bottle? Yep! I have noticed some improvement in the bags under my eyes even after only a few days of using this product. I am hopeful with continued use the bags will continue to improve!

Product Review! Greenco Sport Water Bottle with Fruit Infuser - Set of 2! #FruitInfuserWaterBottle

Anyone that knows me knows that I LOVE WATER now. I almost always have a water bottle / glass in my hand. Prior to seeing these fruit infused water bottles online, I never even knew they existed! I had always done things the hard way (story of my life, LOL), and just squeezed the fruit into my water. The only problem with that - the flavor fizzles out after your first glass! With the fruit infused water bottles, the fruit flavoring lasts a lot longer! I have even started to put my green tea teabags in the little infuser chamber. 

Packaging: This product (set of 2 water bottles - one with a red lid and one with a blue lid) came in a really bright and colorful box. I really liked the way the company packaged and presented their product. 

Bottles: The plastic body of the bottle is a hard, durable plastic. The lids are colored (one blue / one red) and have a "snap on" type closure. I'm assuming the company did this for ease of cleaning. The chamber where the fruit goes is also made of a durable, white plastic. 

Bottom Line: Would I purchase this product after I'm done with these 2 bottles? I would have to say YES. I think it is ingenious to be able to infuse multiple refills of water with the same pieces of fruit.

Product Review! Vita Sciences - theraCALM Stress Relief Cream #theraCALM

For anyone that has problems with anxiety and / or sleeping, this product is amazingly helpful! I have struggled with stress, anxiety, and insomnia for several years now and this product nearly instantly calms me down and helps me to relax. (I use 1-2 pumps as directed.) 

Packaging: This product came in a great, nice-looking box with product information clearly labeled. The best part about the packaging was that the bottle itself was sealed and I had to pull a plastic covering off the lid. That was really nice to know that the company wanted to prevent possible spillage during transit. 

Bottle: Super easy to use! This has a typical "pump" on it and it was really easy to get the product to come out. No struggles. 

Product itself: This product's consistency is very close to lotion - maybe a little thicker, but goes on super smooth. I don't really think this has a scent to it (I'm not able to smell a scent when I put it on and wear it).

Bottom Line: Would I buy more of this product once I run out? ABSOLUTELY! I love it.

Day One

Today was day one of Round TWO for the 21 Day Fix & Round ONE of PiYo. 

The #21dayfix workout was Total Body Cardio Fix. This workout is about 29 minutes in length and really makes you sweat! It is 4 rounds with 2 exercises reach round. There is NO bonus round! 

The #PiYo workout today was Align : The Fundamentals. This workout was nearly 43 minutes, but it is low impact and educational. Chalene goes through the basics of PiYo to familiarize you with the PiYo moves. 

For fun, I walked 3 miles with my mom and aunt plus added in #10MinuteAbs from the 21 Day Fix. 

In total, I worked out for about 2.5 hours. I feel amazing! 

10 Minute Abs #21dayfix

Well I have to say... I ❤ #10MinuteAbs! I am really starting to see definition in my abs from incorporating 10 min abs into my daily workout routine 2 times / day in addition to the "workout of the day" for the 21 Day Fix. 

This super short workout really gets the heart rate up and makes you feel the workout!

Non-Scale Victory

I am so happy to report that I have lost 3.5 pounds since starting back with the 21 Day Fix. I am currently on day 13. 

I have a non-scale victory to report! I am starting to see a "V-cut" in my abs! It is thrilling for me because I never thought I would start to have a flat tummy again let alone start to see ab definition!

Sorry about the break in posting! I'm back now!

I'm on day 12 of the 21 Day Fix! I've been doing my workouts daily PLUS  doing 10 min abs 2x a day and walking between 3-6 miles a day! I've been pretty busy! 

One thing I've noticed is that my butt is becoming firmer and my tummy is getting flatter!

Week One of #Cize completed! On to Week Two!

Well, I finally finished the first week of #Cize. I hate to admit that it took me longer than a week to complete all 7 days, but it did. That happens sometimes. I am only human and life sometimes throws us curve balls!

I ended up pinching a nerve in my back and this prevented me from doing workouts for about 4 days. I walked daily (I walk 3 miles every day with my mother and 2 aunts). But, I hated it that I could not do my Cize workouts.

Yesterday I was feeling better and decided to give week two of Cize a try. I LOVE IT! I thought week one was fun, but it has NOTHING on week two! Week two incorporates a little more dancing elements and intricate moves, but I have faith that even the most novice dancers can handle it! (My mom was able to complete the whole 43 minutes without problems).

If you are looking for a fun and sweat-inducing workout, Cize is your best bet! It's so much fun! I can't wait to get home after work today and get my Cize done!

Copy Cat Kind Bar Recipe! Tastes Just Like #KindBar

Copy Cat Kind Bar Recipe! Tastes Just Like A Peanut Butter / Dark Chocolate Kind Bar!

A copycat recipe that tastes authentically delicious and saves money. Gluten free with vegan version.

Ingredients

• FOR NUT MIXTURE:
• 1/2 cup whole roasted * unsalted almonds
• 2-1/2 cups whole roasted* unsalted peanuts, coarsely chop 1-1/4 cups (leave the rest whole)
• 1/2 cup roasted* walnuts, chopped
• 1/2 cup puffed millet, rice (or other puffed whole grain; or crispy brown rice cereal)
• 2 tablespoons PB2 powdered peanut butter
• FOR SYRUP:
• 1/2 cup honey**
• 1/3 cup brown rice syrup (may substitute light corn syrup)
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• FOR CHOCOLATE DRIZZLES (optional):
• 1 cup dark chocolate chips**
• 1 tablespoon vegetable, grapeseed, or coconut oil

Directions

Grease/spray large bowl, 9x13 baking sheet/pan, wooden spoon or rubber spatula, and bottom of drinking glass. Set aside.

*IF NUTS AREN'T ALREADY ROASTED:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spread nuts  on large baking sheet and bake for 10 min. until lightly toasted and fragrant. 
------------------------
Add toasted nuts and puffed millet to large bowl. Sprinkle with the PB2. Stir to combine; set aside.

In 1-1/2 or 2 quart saucepan, combine honey, rice syrup, salt, and vanilla over medium-high heat. Cook, stirring frequently, until mixture reaches 260 degrees (hard ball stage) on a candy thermometer. Immediately, pour mixture over nut mixture, stir until evenly coated. Quickly transfer to greased/sprayed 9x13 pan, use hands to spread mixture evenly in pan; press the mixture to close in holes and distribute evenly all over the pan. Using bottom of greased/sprayed drinking glass to tap and compact mixture in pan. Let cool 20 minutes (pan should still be slightly warm). Invert pan on cutting board and tap until mixture falls out in one piece. Cut into 20 bars. (If they cool too much and become too hard or brittle to cut easily, put in warm oven for 1-2 minutes to soften; proceed with cutting.) Allow bars to cool completely before proceeding with chocolate drizzles.

FOR CHOCOLATE DRIZZLES: Add chocolate chips and oil to microwave safe bowl. Cook on high power in 20 second intervals, stirring each time, just until last chips melt into mixture (approx. 60 seconds total). Use fork or squeeze bottle to drizzle chocolate over nut bars. Let cool until chocolate hardens.

STORAGE TIP: Store in airtight container with parchment paper between layers. For take-along convenience, use parchment paper pieces to wrap individual bars burrito-style. Store at room temperature for up to 1 week. May refrigerate to extend storage or if firmer, less sticky bars are preferred. May be frozen, too.

NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION for 1 bar: 217 calories, 14.5g fat, 44mg sodium, 19.5g carbs, 2.3g fiber, 14.4g sugars, 6.9g protein; Weight Watchers PointsPlus: 6

**FOR VEGAN VERSION, omit honey and use all brown rice syrup and vegan chocolate chips.

10 Tips for Building Self Confidence #LoveYourself

We all suffer from a little self-doubt from time to time... Me included! I found a great little article at Guided Mind tonight that gave great tips on how to practice self love and build self-confidence! 

1. I am beautiful.

Yes you are. This is number one on the list for many reasons but first and foremost, because it's true. You are beautiful just the way you are. Imperfections, flaws, quirks, idiosyncrasies and all. I may not look like a magazine cover model and really, I could care less. I am beautiful just the way I am. There is no one else that looks like me and that in itself makes me perfectly beautiful.

2. I can do anything.

When you want to learn or do something bad enough, there are no limitations. The only thing stopping you, is you.

We are so afraid of tackling something new, and possibly failing, that we end up not trying at all. Have a look at Nick Vujicic, the man born with no arms or legs. Take a moment to read his story. When you're done reading, try to talk yourself out of something again because you think you can't.

3. I will never be too old to learn to new things.

Who said learning is for kids? The more we learn the more we grow.

You should never stop learning and always believe that you can learn anything you want. When you decide to stop learning is when you will become old. Don't let a number get in the way of learning something new.

4. I can make a difference in someone's life.

You may not think you have a spectacular story or life or maybe you think that you are no one special and nobody cares what you have to offer.

Think again. We are all unique and each one of us comes with a little lesson for others. You'd be surprised at how one simple little thing you know could make a huge difference to someone else. Share your knowledge. You are important.

5. I am not superhuman.

Sometimes we like to think we are indestructible and nothing can hurt us. We are not comic book heroes that never feel pain and our only job is to save the world. We feel, we cry, we hurt, and sometimes we are weak and that's ok. It's healthy to feel all those things. Don't try to be something you're not.

6. Not everyone is going to like me and I'm fine with that.

We desperately try to please everyone. We want to be loved by all. Unless you are the next Mother Teresa, and she may have had some enemies too, that is not going to happen and that's ok.

The people that matter are the ones that will like and love you. You can't make yourself crazy trying to get everyone to like you. Appreciate the ones that do.

7. If I make a mistake it's ok.

That's how I learn. We really shouldn't call them mistakes, but we do. They are experiences, or life lessons, as I like to call them. You are not perfect. You may not succeed in everything you do. That's ok. The most successful people in the world failed many times before they got to where they are today. Don't fret over things that go wrong. Learn from them and move on.

8. I can leave the past in the past and move on.

We don't all have a glorious past and quite often there was someone or something that did us wrong. Take the lesson, forgive the person or thing that harmed you and move forward. You are a better person for it and your past makes you the beautiful being you are today.

9. I am responsible for my life and what happens to me.

This one is hard to swallow. We like to blame the other person. As adults, however, we get to choose where we want to be, who we want to be with, what we want to do, etc.You must believe that where you are right now is because of your choices. You have the power to change your life.

10. It's not too late for me to become a better person.

Don't ever think you can't change something about yourself that you don't like. Maybe you are too negative all the time or too judgmental. Maybe you aren't as spiritual as you would like to be.

Or perhaps you don't show enough love or gratitude for the things in your life. It's not too late to become a better version of you. Believe that you definitely can become a better person as long as you have the desire in you to do so.

#Exercise and #Insomnia - The struggle is real.

I've personally struggled with ‪#‎Insomnia‬ for the last 8+ years. Recently, I found some great tips on how to get more ‪#‎sleep‬!!! I think I'm guilty of disobeying all of these tips at one point or another in my life! 

6 Tips for Getting More Sleep

1. Make sleep a priority
Simply deciding that getting at least 8 hours of sleep a night is going to be one of your health priorities can go a long way. Resist putting work or household chores – or even a good book – ahead of sleep.


2. Develop a sleep routine
Try to go to bed and wake up at the same time each day, even on the weekends. Studies suggest that going to sleep at 10 pm and waking up at 6 am works the best with our body’s natural rhythms.

Developing a ritual that you follow each night before going to sleep (e.g. journaling, reading, paced breathing, and drinking chamomile tea) can also help prepare your body for rest.


3. Make the bed a “sleep only” space
Sometimes it is easy to convert your bed into an all-purpose area – especially if you live in a small apartment. Eating in bed, watching TV in bed, or even working in bed can make it more difficult for you to sleep at night.


4. Avoid eating and exercise within three hours of going to sleep
This can be hard for night owls, but it is important to remember that eating and exercise both get your body energized, not ready for a good night’s sleep. Although regular exercise can make it easier for you to sleep eventually, you should make sure to leave your body plenty of time to wind down afterwards.


5. Turn off the lights (and devices)
Make sure that the area where you sleep is dark and quiet (although if you live in a noisy neighborhood, a white noise machine can be helpful). The hormone melatonin is produced in total darkness, and the longer you stay in the dark, the more melatonin the pineal gland produces. Melatonin regulates our sleep and wake cycles, destroys free radicals, suppresses the development of breast cancer, increases the immune system’s killer lymphocytes and more. Some people use black-out shades or eye masks to block out light when they sleep and/or turn off or move anything out of the room that emits even dim light in their bedroom (e.g. LED lights in TVs, clocks or night lights). If you need a night light, a dim red light is the best choice. 

Additionally, the blue wavelength light emitted from TVs, computer screens and cell phones suppresses melatonin production more than other wavelengths, so it is wise to avoid exposure to them 2-3 hours before bedtime. That means no more falling asleep in front of the TV! However, exposing your eyes to lots of bright natural light during the day can help you sleep better at night.


6. Listen to your body – and get rid of the alarm clock!
After starting to get into a sleep routine, see if your body can awaken on time naturally, without the help of an alarm clock. (Maybe try this out on the weekend first, though!) Listening to your body is the best measure of whether you’re getting sufficient rest.

Crazy 8s

Well, last night my mother and I did Cize together again. Let me tell you what... It was still fun the 3rd day in a row! I love to dance and my mom even enjoyed herself during the 3rd day as well.

Day 3 of Cize is Crazy 8s once again. I have included a little short video of my mom and I doing the routine in case anyone wanted to take a little peek.

Please remember - we are not professional dancers! LOL I have a ton of room for improvement, but I'll tell ya what... I have a BLAST during this workout. It's one of the only workouts that I can drip in sweat and still have a smile on my face!
